Many changes
Mrs. Tran Thi Tao's family used to be a poor household in Thuong Khe 3 hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district. No job, grandparents often sick, unstable income made her family's life even more difficult. One of the impetus that changed her family was capital from the Social Policy Bank. When she had access to capital, Mrs. Tao's eldest daughter went to Japan to work. As a nurse, Mrs. Tao's daughter earned 40 million VND per month. After half a year, Mrs. Tao's family had paid off all the bank debt and had savings to invest in economic development. Following her sister, Mrs. Tao's second son and youngest son also went abroad to work. Up to now, Mrs. Tao's family has become a well-off household in Hung Tay commune with a spacious 2-storey house, fully equipped. Mrs. Tao's eldest daughter has also returned to her hometown to get married, build a house and have a little capital to do business...
In Thuong Khe 3 hamlet, Hung Tay commune, not only Mrs. Tao but many other households have also changed thanks to labor export with high-rise buildings springing up close together, people's lives improving, the hamlet no longer has poor households of working age.

In Hung Dao commune, Ms. Vi Thi Noi - a commune policy officer said: Currently, the whole commune has more than 600 workers working abroad. Every year, children in the commune send back about 144 billion VND. This amount of money not only helps families have a prosperous and comfortable life but is also an important resource for the economic and social development of the commune. Children living far from home are always at the forefront of movements to build rural roads, community cultural houses and other public works.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep - Head of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Hung Nguyen district said: Last year, we cooperated withLabor Export Brokerage Centerhas the function of sending people to work abroad to exploit and expand markets. In addition to traditional markets such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, last year we expanded to European markets such as Australia, Romania, Germany, etc. In addition, the district always creates conditions for disadvantaged households to access labor export loan policies from credit institutions. Thanks to that, the number of workers going abroad is increasing.

Like Hung Nguyen district, Thanh Chuong district is a locality with a large number of workers participating in the labor export market. From this source of foreign currency, many rural areas have changed dramatically. Many families have escaped poverty and become well-off. Mr. Nguyen Van Hoe - Deputy Head of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thanh Chuong district said: Currently, Thanh Chuong has more than 1,600 people working in Korea, Taiwan and other markets. Workers are very excited about the State's loan support policies for poor and near-poor households. After only a few years, disadvantaged households in the area have had income, paid off debts, and built houses. Therefore, the key to the district's job creation in the coming years is to continue to increase the rate of people participating in labor export. In particular, the district will focus on coordinating with units with the function of sending workers to work abroad to expand potential markets with high incomes.
