Nghe An: Discovered a car transporting smuggled goods worth hundreds of millions of dong
(Baonghean.vn) - At the time of inspection, the police seized 1,000 Covid-19 test kits and many smuggled goods worth about 200 million VND from the car.
Quynh Luu District Police said that on April 1, 2022, in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, the unit discovered a car with license plate 43H - 012.64, driven by LPMT (born in 1972, residing in Hoa Cuong Bac ward, Da Nang city) transporting smuggled goods.

At the time of inspection, the police seized 1,000 sets ofCovid-19 test, 135kg of fabric, 04 electronic LED panels with foreign labels. All of the above goods did not have valid invoices and documents, with a total value of about 200 million VND. At the police station, LPMT said that he was hired to transport the above goods from Hanoi to Da Nang for an unknown person.

Previously, on March 29, 2022, also at Block 1, Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu District, the District Police inspected a passenger car with license plate 47B-029.56, driven by N.D.N. (born in 1984, residing in Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province). Thereby, it was discovered that the vehicle was transporting 7,500 poultry without quarantine documents as prescribed.
Currently, Quynh Luu District Police are completing the documents to proceed with administrative sanctions against LPMT and N.D.N. according to the provisions of law./.
