According to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of strengthening cold air, from April 25-27, in the mountainous areas of the North and Central regions, there will continue to be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain (over 120mm/24 hours); there is a high risk of tornadoes, lightning, and hail over a large area, especially in the localities that have just suffered damage.
To effectively respond and limit damage caused by natural disasters, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control requested departments, branches, localities and units to closely monitor weather and natural disaster developments, proactively deploy measures to respond and overcome the consequences of heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning and hail.
In addition, focus on a number of tasks such as: Strictly implement Official Dispatch No. 481/CD-TTg dated April 25, 2020 of the Prime Minister on focusing on responding to and overcoming the consequences of heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and hail; Organize a serious on-duty team, regularly synthesize and report on the situation of natural disasters and damage to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control) for synthesis and reporting.
