Nghe An to welcome 200 citizens returning from countries with Covid-19 epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An is about to welcome back hundreds of citizens whose children are living and working abroad.
According to a source from Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of March 18, Nghe An will receive about 200 people returning from countries with epidemics. The plane will land at Vinh airport, then the authorities will immediately pick them up and take them to the military's centralized quarantine areas.
"Most of these people are children from Nghe An and Ha Tinh living and working abroad," he said.

The move comes after Vietnam temporarily suspended visa issuance for foreigners entering the country for 30 days, starting from 0:00 on March 18. This decision does not apply to those entering for diplomatic or official purposes. All passengers entering from the US, European and ASEAN countries must be quarantined. Those not subject to centralized quarantine will be quarantined at home, businesses, and accommodation facilities, under the supervision of authorities.
In addition, Nghe An has received more than 20 citizens returning from Laos for centralized quarantine. It is expected that in the coming days, the number of citizens returning from Laos will increase.
