Nghe An: Tragic accident at dawn, more than 20 people injured and dead
(Baonghean.vn) - Initial information shows that a serious traffic accident occurred between a tractor trailer and a passenger bus, causing about 20 casualties and serious traffic congestion on National Highway 1A.
According to local residents, at around 5:00 a.m. on March 16, on National Highway 1A in Bac Kim Hoa hamlet, Nghi Thuan commune, a serious traffic accident occurred between a tractor trailer and a passenger bus with license plate 36B - 034.12.

At that time, the passenger bus, believed to be from Thanh Hoa, was on its way to take people to a pagoda when the accident occurred. The scene showed that the passenger bus crashed into the back of a tractor trailer.
According to initial information, the caseaccidentkilling one person on the spot, injuring about 20 people and causing serious traffic congestion on the road near the Nghi Long commune gate.
The deceased victim was a man in his 50s named Minh, from Tu Liem district, Hanoi. The authorities have contacted the victim’s family to handle the case.

Currently, authorities are focusing on treating the victims, clearing the accident scene to clear traffic on National Highway 1A, and investigating the cause of the accident.
Traffic congestion on National Highway 1A was cleared about 1 hour after the accident occurred.
Mr. Nguyen Nam, a local resident participating in the rescue at the scene, said that among the injured, about 6 people had broken legs, 3 people were unconscious on the spot. The rest were in panic and had minor injuries. All were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
