Nghe An: Temporarily suspend preschool teaching, activate local centralized quarantine areas

The document clearly states that, at present, the number of citizensNghe Anfrom southern provinces and cities returning to their hometowns increased dramatically, the areasisolationThe province's central facilities are overloaded. To prepare conditions for welcoming citizens back safely and effectively, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long assigned:

1. Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns reactivate local centralized quarantine facilities to be ready to welcome citizens returning from southern provinces and cities. If they still cannot meet the requirements, use kindergartens as centralized quarantine facilities; direct the community Covid Team to closely monitor returning citizens; proactively coordinate with the Department of Transport to welcome citizens; starting time is from 12:00 on October 6, 2021.

2. The Director of the Department of Education and Training announced the temporary suspension of preschool teaching.

At this time, many localities in Nghe An have allowed preschool children to return to school after the Covid-19 epidemic has been controlled. However, with a large number of citizens returning to their hometowns and a lack of quarantine locations, it is expected that many preschools in the province will be requisitioned as centralized quarantine sites to prevent Covid-19.

According to statistics: On October 5 and the morning of October 6, Nghe An received 1,446 people returning from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, and is quarantining 3,286 people at 10 centralized quarantine points at the provincial level.
