Nghe An strengthens forest fire monitoring during extremely hot days

With the return of severe heat and high risk of forest fires, Nghe An has directed relevant sectors to synchronously deploy fire prevention measures. In particular, forest patrolling and monitoring have been strengthened, especially in areas with high risk of forest fires.

Nghệ An có 15.867,55 ha rừng trồng Thông nhựa dễ cháy, để chủ động phòng cháy, Đến nay tỉnh đã thành lập 01 BCĐ cấp tỉnh, 20 BCĐ cấp huyện, thành thị, 371 BCH và trung đội cấp xã; 29 BCH của chủ rừng, hàng trăm tổ đội cấp thôn với tổng số trên 6.000 người.các địa phương và chủ rừng là tổ chức đã tổ chức thu gom, xử lý thực bì: giảm vật liệu cháy hơn 2.500 ha, tu sửa 186 km đường băng cản lửa; làm mới 62 km đường băng trên rừng sản xuất giáp ranh rừng tự nhiên; tu sửa hơn 30 km đường ranh cản lửa — Mr. Nguyen Danh Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment said: Nghe An currently has more than 15,800 hectares of pine forests - a type of flammable forest.
