Nghe An strengthens forest fire monitoring during extremely hot days

With the return of severe heat and high risk of forest fires, Nghe An has directed relevant sectors to synchronously deploy fire prevention measures. In particular, forest patrolling and monitoring have been strengthened, especially in areas with high risk of forest fires.

Preparations for vehicles and equipment are also focused with 12 forest fire monitoring camera systems being managed and operated effectively. In addition, the firefighting force is equipped with many blowers, vegetation cutters, chainsaws, thousands of fire extinguishers, knives, manual tools such as rakes, hoes, shovels, ready to respond when a forest fire occurs.
