Nghe An to increase 30 cooperatives and 150 cooperative groups by 2030

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just planned to implement the Project "Vietnam Farmers' Association participates in collective economic development in agriculture until 2030" in the province.

The objective of implementing the project is to enhance the role, awareness and responsibility of cadres and farmer members on the Party's policies and the State's laws on innovation, development and improvement of collective economic efficiency; arouse the spirit of cooperation and creative entrepreneurship of members, propagate, attract, mobilize, guide and support members and farmers to actively participate in collective economic development in agriculture... Thereby, contributing to improving income and quality of life, building the Farmers' Association to develop more and more strongly.

Accordingly, by 2030, we strive to provide consultation and support in the establishment of at least 30 new cooperatives and 150 cooperative groups in the agricultural sector; Consolidate and improve the quality and operational efficiency of at least 30 agricultural cooperatives mobilized, guided and supported by Farmers' Associations at all levels.

At least 50% of agricultural cooperatives mobilized, guided and supported by the Farmers' Association to establish and participate in production and business linkages with enterprises and other economic organizations.

100% of key staff of agricultural cooperatives established with the support of the Farmers' Association are trained, fostered, and coached to improve their qualifications, expertise, and skills; 50% of members of agricultural cooperatives established with the support of the Farmers' Association are consulted, trained, fostered, trained in science and technology transfer, and trained in basic digital skills.

To complete these targets, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Farmers' Association - with the core role of coordinating with relevant departments and branches; localities to carry out a number of tasks and solutions: Promote information, propaganda, training, fostering to raise awareness, mobilize and attract members and farmers to actively participate in developing collective economy in agriculture.

Strengthen and improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural cooperatives and cooperative groups mobilized, guided and supported by the Farmers' Association; Advise, guide and support members and farmers in establishing and developing agricultural cooperatives and cooperative groups.

Improve the quality of human resources of collective economic organizations in agriculture supported by the Farmers' Association; Improve the quality of direction, management and participation in supporting the development of collective economy in agriculture of Farmers' Associations at all levels./.
