Nghe An participates in the cultural, sports and tourism exchange festival in the Vietnam - Laos border area

The festival was held from October 1 to October 3 with the participation of artisans, artists, actors, and mass athletes of ethnic minorities from 10 provinces (Dien Bien, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Nam, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue, Kon Tum, Ha Tinh) and the participation of 10 mass art troupes of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Luong Pha Bang, Hua Phan, At Ta Pu, Se Kong, Xieng Khouang, Bolikhamxay, Kham Muon, Xa Van Khet, Sala Van, Phong Sa Ly), and at the same time, with the participation and coordination of central agencies, departments and branches.

Activities include: Performance, introduction of festivals, cultural rituals; performance of national costumes; exhibition space to introduce and promote cultural and tourism products, the country, people and socio-economic achievements of localities; mass art festivals; competitions in traditional sports; tourism activities to survey community tourism and eco-tourism in Dien Bien province; development and organization of programs to bring delegations from foreign provinces to Dien Bien province.Lao People's Democratic Republicand provinces participating in the festival to survey and experience historical relics and tourist attractions in the area; seminars on cooperation and development of tourism in the Vietnam - Laos border area; exchange and performance activities to serve the people, officers and soldiers of the armed forces in Dien Bien province...

On this occasion, Nghe An delegation participated in the following performances: Cha gong festival of Thai ethnic people; Singing and dancing: Meeting each other during the festival season; Traditional costume performance of ethnic groups: Thai, Tho, Mong, Kho Mu, O Du; Male solo: Let the Tom melody ring out; Dance: The light of the highlands; Female group: The sun in us; Medley: Drumbeat of Vietnam - Laos friendship.

Through the activities within the framework of the festival, visitors can immerse themselves in and experience cultural and artistic programs, traditional festivals, and folk games. Thereby, demonstrating the strength of solidarity, friendship, and the radiance of the beauty of traditional cultural values, rich in cultural identity of the two countries Vietnam - Laos.

The festival is an opportunity to introduce and promote to domestic and international friends the potential and strengths of developing culture, sports, tourism and traditional culture of ethnic groups in the border provinces of Vietnam - Laos in the process of innovation, integration and development. Thereby, contributing to preserving, promoting and honoring the cultural identity of ethnic groups; strengthening the long-standing traditional friendship and solidarity, comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; affirming the consistent viewpoints, guidelines and policies of the Party, State and people in maintaining, consolidating and enhancing the special relationship between the two Parties, the two States and the people of Vietnam - Laos.

On this occasion, the delegation of Culture - Sports and Communications of Nghe An province offered incense at the memorial house of General Vo Nguyen Giap and visited the National Special Historical Relic Site of Dien Bien Phu Command Headquarters.
