Nghe An pilots competition for planning ideas for 50-hectare commercial and urban area in Cua Lo, Nghi Loc

This content is issued in Official Dispatch No. 7098/UBND - CN on the implementation of the competition for construction planning ideas signed by Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy on October 4, 2019.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to advise on implementation in accordance with regulations.

Also in this document, the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed on the order of implementing the pilot project of construction planning ideas as proposed by the Department of Construction. The detailed implementation process and regulations for each specific case are issued by the Planning Selection Council to ensure suitability for needs, promote effective implementation and comply with regulations.

In case the winning unit proposes to fully fund the planning project, the Department of Construction shall base on the proposal of the Planning Competition Council, assess the practical needs of the locality to advise the Provincial People's Committee to decide to allow implementation in accordance with regulations.

"Please note that the selection of planning consultants, project appraisal and approval, and implementation of construction planning must comply with current legal regulations," the content of the Official Dispatch clearly states.

Previously, the Department of Construction of Nghe An submitted to the Provincial People's Committee an Official Dispatch on the issuance of a pilot implementation process for selecting a unit to sponsor construction planning in Nghe An province and an Official Dispatch on the competition for detailed planning options for the construction of the Commercial and Urban Area in Nghi Thach commune, Nghi Loc district and Nghi Huong and Nghi Hoa wards, Cua Lo town.

Also related to the construction sector, on October 4, 2019, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy signed Official Dispatch No. 7099/UBND - CN to the Department of Construction agreeing with the Department's proposal and assigning the Department to preside over drafting and advising the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate the Regulation on construction order management in Nghe An province in accordance with current laws and regulations on the development of legal documents; complete and report to the Provincial People's Committee for approval before December 31, 2019 for implementation and strengthening of construction order management in the province.
