Nghe An: Highlights of November 16th
Today (November 16th), Comrade Le Minh Hung - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department - on behalf of the Political Bureau, announced and presented the Decision approving the appointment of Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - as Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. The Head of the Central Organization Department also held a working session with the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and participated in several activities in the province.

In all his positions, he has always performed his duties well and excellently, making important contributions to the overall results of the agencies and units he worked for.
Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung on being entrusted with a new important responsibility by the Politburo. This is a special expression of trust and recognition from the Politburo and the Central Committee of the Party towards the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province, and towards Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung personally.

The meeting aimed to review the results of the socio-economic tasks performed in the first 10 months of 2024; the targets for implementing the Resolution of the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; and some issues related to Party building within the Provincial Party Committee.
Head of the Party Organization Department Le Minh Hung and the delegation listened to proposals related to Party building and organization; the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; and Guidance No. 27-HD/BTCTW, dated August 26, 2024, of the Central Organization Department on some contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW.

* On the evening of November 15th, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Central Propaganda Department, in coordination with Vietnam Television, organized a live broadcast on VTV1 of the nationwide program "Ho Chi Minh - A Journey of Aspiration" with the theme of Innovation and Development.
The program honored 7 exemplary models and 18 outstanding individuals.Across the country, the "Giving the National Flag to Fishermen at Sea" model of the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee is honored as one of 7 models nationwide to receive recognition.
* On the morning of November 16th,Vinh University organizes a commemorative ceremony.42 years of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and celebrating 65 years of the school's founding (1959-2024).
Vinh University of Education was established in 1959. In 2001, the Prime Minister renamed Vinh University of Education to Vinh University with the goal of multi-disciplinary training. Since 2011, Vinh University has been included in the list of key national universities to be developed.

* After many sleepless nights guarding the rice paddies, the people in the downstream communes of the Lam River have earned a considerable amount of money.the first harvests of the season.This year, the mudworms appeared late and are still rare, so traders are competing to buy them.
These days, farmers in Chau Nhan and Hung Loi communes (Hung Nguyen district) are staying up all night to guard the fields against the rising tide of mudworms. In mid-October of the lunar calendar, the tide rises and recedes in the fields at midnight, making it difficult to catch them.hunting for wormsIt was quite hard work.
