Nghe An: Highlights of March 16th

* On the morning of June 13th, the 9th Session continued.15th National AssemblyDiscussions were held regarding the proposed Monitoring Program for 2026.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly anticipates that the content of the National Assembly's supervision program for 2026 will include: At its first session, the 16th National Assembly will consider 8 reports from the Government, 1 report from the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and other reports from relevant agencies as prescribed by law.

* On the afternoon of June 13th, in Vinh City, the Party Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department held an event.Decision announcement ceremonyThe Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has decided to appoint Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of the Provincial Police, to the Party Committee Executive Board, the Party Committee Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee for the 14th term, 2020-2025.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee appointing Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of the Provincial Police, to the Provincial Police Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee, and the position of Secretary of the Provincial Police Party Committee for the 14th term, 2020-2025.

Previously, the Minister of Public Security decided to transfer Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Nghe An Provincial Police; and decided to transfer and appoint Major General Bui Quang Thanh, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, to the position of Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security.

* On the morning of June 13th,The People's Committee of Nghe An province held a specialized meeting.The meeting in June 2025 aims to evaluate the results of tasks in many key areas during the first six months of the year, and to discuss directions, tasks, and solutions for implementation in the last six months of 2025.

After listening to the discussions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh issued specific directives for each item, requesting relevant agencies to incorporate the feedback and finalize the draft report for submission to the Provincial People's Council, while also effectively serving the leadership and management work in the last six months of 2025.
