Nghe An: Highlights on February 21
(Baonghean.vn) - The 67th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day took place in the context of the complicated Covid-19 epidemic in Nghe An province. Honoring, encouraging, and sharing the work of doctors and medical staff during these days has received the attention of the whole society.
*SOn February 21, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong and the province's working delegation visitedvisit, congratulate staff, doctors, nurses, and employeesa number of hospitals and medical facilities on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27). The delegation included leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Health and the Provincial Party Committee Office.
At the units visited, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee praised the service spirit of the medical team, doctors and medical staff, especially their dedication and contributions in the recent period of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Comrade Nguyen Van Thong hoped that with their professional capacity and sense of responsibility, the medical team of the units would promote medical ethics and professional experience to actively contribute to the work of taking better care of people's health.

*LRegarding the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, on the morning of February 21, Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: Within 12 hours (from 6:00 p.m. on February 20 - 6:00 a.m. on February 21), Nghe An1,291 new positive cases recordedwith Covid-19, of which there are 341 community cases.
