Nghe An: Highlights of November 29th

* On the morning of November 29th,The Standing Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee held a review meeting.Collective and individual awards for 2024. Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended and directed the conference.

Delivering a guiding speech at the conference, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee clearly stated that the Standing Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee must lead and direct the effective implementation of ideological work, creating consensus within the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the city's Party Committee, the government, and more broadly among all cadres, Party members, and the people to effectively implement the reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period; and at the same time, effectively carry out personnel work for the new term.

At the same time, we must focus intensely and comprehensively on reviewing and reorganizing the organizational structure and restructuring the staff of officials and civil servants in accordance with the Central Committee's directives, aiming for: "Lean - compact - strong - efficient - effective - effective".

* On the afternoon of November 29th,The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held its regular meeting.November 2024. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council gave its opinion on the preparation for the 25th Session (the last regular session of 2024) of the 18th Provincial People's Council, which will take place over two days (December 5th and 6th, 2024).

The session is expected to consider 34 reports from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and judicial agencies, as well as 45 draft resolutions. This is the session with the largest volume of reports and resolutions ever.

* On the morning of November 29th,The Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council held a press conference.Announcing the content and agenda of the 25th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026 (regular session at the end of 2024).

At this session, the Provincial People's Council will question groups of issues related to the fields of health and culture.

Thanks to thorough preparation, training, and effective drills, Regiment 764 and its subordinate companies successfully completed the 2024 comprehensive exercise, ensuring absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment.

* Businesses investing in the North-South expressway project section through Nghe An province have stated that the Ministry of Transport has not yet approved the plan.No fees will be charged from the beginning of December 2024.as planned.

The Dien Chau – Bai Vot section of the North-South Expressway was put into operation latest among the recently completed expressway packages (July 1, 2024). Over the past period, although contractors have made efforts to construct items at toll stations as well as connecting roads for local residents, some requests related to connecting roads for local residents remain unfulfilled.
