* Sáng 3/1, Tỉnh ủy Nghệ An tổ chức Lễ công bố và trao Quyết định của Ban Bí thư Trung ương Đảng về công tác cán bộ.

* On the afternoon of January 3rd, in Vinh City,18th term of the Nghe An Provincial People's CouncilDuring the 2021-2026 term, the 26th session (Special Session) was held to address personnel matters and other issues within its authority.
With 100% of the delegates present voting in favor by secret ballot, Le Hong Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, was elected by the Provincial People's Council - the local state power body - to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term, replacing his predecessor, Nguyen Duc Trung.
Previously, the Provincial People's Council had carried out the procedure to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung from his position as Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, as he was approved by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
