Nghe An: Highlights of February 3rd
Activities commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party; provincial leaders visiting and extending New Year greetings to localities... are among the highlights of the day.
* On the morning of February 3rd, commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2026), a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony to lay flowers and offer incense in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary Le Hong Phong. Attending the ceremony were: Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with other members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
* At the Party Committee of Tay Hieu Ward, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Khac ThanAwarding the 70-Year Party Membership BadgePresented to veteran Party member Dang Ich Chi - a veteran Party member who has continuously strived and persevered, remaining loyal throughout his life to the revolutionary goals and ideals of the Party.
* On the afternoon of February 3rd, in preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with a delegation from the province, visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to the people, officials, and armed forces in the mountainous and border areas. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee extended New Year greetings to the Hanh Dich Border Guard Post, the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Tien Phong commune; and presented New Year gifts to poor households and households with particularly difficult circumstances.
