Nghe An: Highlights of March 8th
Today, March 8th, commemorating the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day, the Prime Minister met with female heroes and attended the ceremony celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Kovalevskaia Award.
* On the morning of March 8th, at the Government headquarters,Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh meets with female Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, female Labor Heroes, and female generals.Attending the 40th anniversary celebration of the Kovalevskaia Prize and presenting the award in 2024.
The event, organized by the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Government Office and the Ministry of Interior, commemorates the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8); and looks forward to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); and the 40th anniversary of the Kovalevskaia Award (1985-2025).
The Ministry of Interior has recently issued Official Letter No. 110/BNV-TCPCP to the People's Committees of provinces and cities regarding several issues related to mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State. The government issued Decree 64/2025/ND-CP.Regulations regarding interest rates after the construction period.Reasonable profit, payment methods, and final settlement for investment projects using BT contracts in Nghe An province.
This Decree applies to parties in Build-Transfer (BT) contracts, agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in BT project investment activities in Nghe An province.
* At the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee meeting on March 7th, Chairman Le Hong Vinh requested the Provincial People's Committee Office to immediately schedule a meeting between March 10th and 14th to definitively resolve legal obstacles.Resuming land auction activitiesafter a 5-month hiatus.
Revenue from land use fees is a significant source of income in the budget revenue structure. In 2024, the total budget revenue of Nghe An province reached 25,517 billion VND, of which revenue from land use fees was 10,185 billion VND.

* According to information from the Nghe An Department of Finance, in implementing the Prime Minister's Decision on the General Inventory of Public Assets,Nghe An province has basically completed the comprehensive inventory of public assets..
Based on the Ministry of Finance's guidelines on public asset inventory, Nghe An province has 2,364 units that must conduct a comprehensive inventory and prepare 3,820 reports categorized by asset group.
*Preparations are underway for the extension of Le Mao Street., 48m wide, connecting to the Vinh city bypass road.
Specifically, the extended Le Mao road project will connect the center of Vinh city with National Highway 1 bypass, with a length of approximately 1.2 km (starting point at the Vinh riverside road, ending point at National Highway 1 bypass). The construction boundary according to the planning is 48m (road surface 2x13m, central median 8m wide, sidewalks on both sides 2x7m wide). This project is one of three packages under the Priority Infrastructure and Urban Development Project adapting to climate change in Vinh city.
