Nghe An: Highlights of April 9th
The National Assembly convened in the Assembly Hall and held group discussions on draft laws; Nghe An and Quang Ngai shared experiences in developing industrial parks... these are some of the highlights of the day.
* At the Presidential Palace, on the afternoon of April 9th, the Office of the President of Vietnam held a solemn ceremony.Handover ceremonyof the President of Vietnam, between General Secretary and President To Lam and former President Luong Cuong.
*Continuing the first session of the 16th National Assembly, on the morning of April 9th,The National Assembly convenes in the Assembly Hall.and discussed in groups four draft laws: the Law on Civil Status (amended); the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Notarization; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Legal Aid; and the Law on Access to Information (amended). Group 7 included 33 delegates from the two National Assembly delegations of Nghe An and Lam Dong provinces.

* On the morning of April 9th,Comrade Tran Cam Tu- Members of the Politburo, Standing Committee of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and a high-level Vietnamese delegation arrived at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, beginning their official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, is part of the delegation.
*Delegation of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai provinceA delegation led by Comrade Do Tam Hien, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, held a working meeting with the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to discuss experiences in developing industrial zones. Receiving and working with the delegation was Comrade Bui Thanh An, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
*Comrade Hoang Phu Hien- Members of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working group inspected the progress of resettlement areas serving the North-South High-Speed Railway Project in the province.
* As part of their working visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the afternoon of April 9th, the delegation from Nghe An province, led by Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited...Visiting and wishing Happy Bunpimay Traditional New YearParty Committee, government and people of the Lao ethnic groups in Xaysomboun province.
*Gasoline and diesel pricesPrices were significantly reduced in today's price adjustment. RON95 gasoline dropped by nearly 3,000 VND/liter, and diesel fuel by almost 10,000 VND/liter.
