Nghe An: State budget revenue in 8 months is estimated at over 12,296 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the province's state budget revenue in the first 8 months of 2021 is still estimated at more than 12,296 billion VND, equal to 87.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
In the past time, identifying the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic as a priority task, first and foremost, Nghe An province has proactively and promptly implemented synchronously, drastically and effectively the tasks and solutions to prevent and control the epidemic according to the direction of the Central Government, the Government and the Prime Minister.
In August, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province decided to apply Directive 16 to 14 localities and Directive 15 to the remaining localities to prevent the spread of the epidemic. Vinh City alone, from August 23, has applied measures one level higher than Directive 16 of the Prime Minister.

Despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the province's state budget revenue in the first 8 months of 2021 is still estimated at VND 12,296.23 billion, equal to 87.6% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council (VND 14,032.3 billion) and an increase of 23.2% over the same period in 2020. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at VND 11,105.23 billion, reaching 86.9% of the estimate and increasing by 19.8% over the same period in 2020.
The industrial production index (IIP) in August 2021 is estimated to increase by 14.91% over the same period and by 6.09% over July 2021. In the first 8 months of 2021, the IIP is estimated to increase by 23.08% over the same period in 2020. The province has assessed 2 communes to meet new rural standards (Nghia Thinh commune, Nghia Dan district and Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district).
As of August 20, 2021, the province has granted new licenses to 62 projects and adjusted 95 projects, with a total newly granted and increased investment capital of VND 13,789.76 billion; compared to the same period in 2020, the number of projects increased by 19%, the total investment increased by 3.33 times. At the same time, 1,275 enterprises, an increase of 4.85% over the same period with a total registered capital of VND 13,328.2 billion.
Regarding the disbursement of public investment capital, as of August 10, 2021, the province's disbursement rate reached 39.13% of the detailed plan. Of which, the local budget source reached 40.78%; the central budget source (domestic capital) reached 51.63%.
The province has adjusted and transferred the first phase of the 2021 public investment capital plan. At the same time, the 2020 public investment plan was adjusted to extend the implementation and disbursement period to 2021 of 10 slow-disbursement projects to 6 projects with good disbursement progress and in need of additional capital; the transferred capital amount is 31 billion 390 million VND.
