Nghe An receives support for Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund from businesses
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals in Nghe An have registered to support the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control fund in 2021 with a total amount of money and goods of nearly 98 billion VND.

On the afternoon of August 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to receive donations for Covid-19 prevention and control from units and enterprises, including: Minh Tri Vinh Joint Stock Company donated 658 million VND; Viettel Nghe An donated 300 million VND, of which 150 million VND was donated to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 150 million VND was donated to the health sector; JP International Joint Stock Company donated 50 million VND.
Thus far, agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals have registered to support the fund for disease prevention and control.Covid-19 epidemicIn 2021, the province donated nearly 98 billion VND in cash and goods, of which 23.15 billion VND was at the provincial level; 65.21 billion VND was at the district level; and goods donated to the people of Ho Chi Minh City worth 8.72 billion VND.

At the reception ceremony, Permanent Vice PresidentProvincial Fatherland Front CommitteeLe Van Ngoc informed that the epidemic situation is complicated. The Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control at all levels is synchronously and drastically implementing solutions.
Disease prevention and control work in Nghe An has received active support from organizations, individuals, agencies, units and businesses in the locality and outside the province.

The received funds and necessities are assigned to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for appropriate allocation and proper use, with priority given to field hospitals, concentrated quarantine areas, and locked-down areas to provide maximum support to the frontline forces fighting the epidemic./.
