Nghe An receives support from businesses for Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund

On the afternoon of August 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to receive support for the prevention and control of Covid-19 from units and enterprises, including: Minh Tri Vinh Joint Stock Company donated 658 million VND; Viettel Nghe An donated 300 million VND, of which 150 million VND was donated to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, 150 million VND was donated to the health sector; JP International Joint Stock Company donated 50 million VND.

Thus far, agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals have registered to support the fund for disease prevention and control.Covid-19 epidemic2021 in the province with a total amount of money and goods of nearly 98 billion VND, of which at the provincial level is 23.15 billion VND; at the district level is 65.21 billion VND; supporting goods for the people of Ho Chi Minh City worth 8.72 billion VND.

At the reception ceremony, Permanent Vice PresidentProvincial Fatherland Front CommitteeLe Van Ngoc informed that the epidemic situation is complicated. The Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control at all levels is synchronously and drastically implementing solutions.

Disease prevention and control work in Nghe An has received active support from organizations, individuals, agencies, units and businesses in the locality and outside the province.

The received funds and necessities are assigned to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for appropriate allocation and proper use, with priority given to field hospitals, concentrated quarantine areas, and locked-down areas to provide maximum support to the frontline forces against the epidemic./.
