Nghe An continues to be in the top of the North Central provinces in terms of PCI Index.

On the morning of April 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) held a ceremony to announce the 2020 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) report.

According to the announced results, the top of this year's ranking is Quang Ninh with 75.09 points, followed by Dong Thap (72.81 points), Long An (70.37 points), Binh Duong (70.16 points), Da Nang (70.12 points). The bottom group in PCI 2020 is Bac Lieu, Kien Giang, Ha Giang, Dak Nong, Bac Kan.

The results show that, in the general difficult conditions due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Nghe An effectively implemented the "dual goal" of both preventing and fighting the epidemic and recovering and developing the socio-economy as set out by the Government.
