Nghe An: Saving 3.6 billion VND in valuation, management and asset purchase
(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 6 months of the year, according to the report of the Department of Finance, the procurement, management and use of state assets were carried out in accordance with regulations. The result was a savings of 3.6 billion VND.
State asset management in Nghe An has been more closely linked with budget preparation and implementation, while still maintaining its own independence to ensure compliance with the process of investment, new construction, procurement, and asset use.
For the appraisal of assets (except land use rights) with a value of 1 billion VND/asset or 1 billion VND/bid package of the same type of asset (vehicle, machinery, public assets...), the State Asset Valuation Council has appraised 17 dossiers, saving 3.6 billion VND after appraisal.
The provincial land valuation council determines land prices, compensation and resettlement prices for 80 projects. The valuation is in accordance with regulations, accurate, and consistent with market prices to ensure against loss of state budget revenue.

The policy of implementing centralized state asset procurement contributes to improving the efficiency of state asset management and use; ensuring that assets are purchased according to standards and norms; and preventing waste.
The Department of Finance is responsible for purchasing assets in the province's centralized asset procurement list. In the first 6 months of 2020, the Department of Finance is implementing a centralized state asset procurement package with an estimated cost of 2.2 billion VND.
The Provincial People's Committee continues to direct local agencies and units to promote the rearrangement and handling of real estate according to Decree 167/ND-CP dated December 31, 2017 of the Government on regulations on the rearrangement and handling of public assets./.
