In the first 10 months of 2019, the whole province had 209 traffic accidents, killing 131 people and injuring 145 people. Traffic accidents decreased compared to the same period in all 3 criteria (9 fewer cases, 16 fewer deaths, 14 fewer injuries).
At the memorial service, delegates watched reports on the tragedy, pain and loss caused by traffic accidents; and animations warning people about the risks of traffic accidents and their consequences.
Through this, the explanation of the main causes of traffic accidents comes from poor traffic awareness such as speeding, overtaking against regulations, not complying with the Road Traffic Law, not having the awareness to give way; using alcohol when participating in traffic, especially among young people...

Speaking at the memorial ceremony, comrade Hoang Phu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Transport emphasized that although traffic accidents have decreased in all three criteria, the traffic safety and order situation continues to be complicated and unpredictable.
Therefore, we recommend that units, organizations, individuals and all people raise awareness of compliance with traffic safety laws. Each family and school needs to educate children about awareness and responsibility when participating in traffic, contributing to building a traffic culture, creating a safe traffic environment for themselves and the community.
