Nghe An summarizes and awards the online contest 'Learning new legal documents' in 2024
On the morning of November 8, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to respond to Vietnam Law Day in conjunction with summarizing the work of the Provincial Legal Education and Dissemination Coordination Council and summarizing and awarding prizes for the online contest "Learning new legal documents" in 2024.

Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Council for Coordinating Legal Education and Dissemination chaired.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial People's Council; Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors. On the district side, there were the Chairman of the Coordination Council for Legal Education and Training, representatives of the Department of Justice.
Reporting at the conference, the representative of the Department of Justice stated that November 9 was chosen by the Party and State as"Law Day"Socialist Republic of Vietnam, affirming the value and role of the Constitution and law in social life, spreading the spirit of democracy - rule of law, awareness of law observance, reminding us to live and work according to the Constitution and law.

Based on its functions and tasks, the Coordinating Council for Legal Education and Dissemination (PBGDPL) at all levels in the province has promoted its advisory role to Party committees and authorities at all levels, and is a linking agency, coordinating activities between agencies, departments, branches, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the work of legal education and dissemination.

Forms of propaganda and legal dissemination are diversified with many effective methods. In 2024, the whole province organized 11,198 direct propaganda sessions for 1,265,350 participants (an increase of 1,018 sessions compared to the same period in 2023); organized 284 contests with 3,218,578 participants (a decrease of 197 sessions compared to the same period in 2023).

At the conference, there were many comments and reflections on many aspects of the work of disseminating and educating the law. Thereby, recommendations and proposals were made to better and more effectively implement the work of disseminating and educating the law in the coming time.
Next, the Conference organized a summary and award ceremony for the online contest "Learning new legal documents" in 2024.
According to the summary results, after 4 weeks of the contest, the whole province had 2,483,059 entries, of which 546,994 entries achieved the maximum score (15/15 points), accounting for 22.03%. Based on the Rules and results of the contest, the Organizing Committee issued a Decision to recognize and award prizes to 5 groups and 41 individuals.


In his closing speech at the conference, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Legal Dissemination Coordination Council highly appreciated the results achieved in the work of legal dissemination in 2024.
At the same time, it is stated that in the context of deep international integration along with the strong impact of the 4th industrial revolution, the rapid development of social networks, the increasing level of education and the need to learn about the law of the people, especially in 2025, the year of the Party Congresses at all levels, the 20th Provincial Congress and the 14th Party Congress, have set new requirements for legal dissemination and education work.

Therefore, departments, branches, sectors, organizations and localities need to continue to direct, guide and organize the dissemination of newly issued or effective legal contents in 2024 and 2025, legal regulations related to people's lives, production and business activities of enterprises, issues of public concern or needing to orient public opinion such as the implementation of the Land Law, Party congresses at all levels, the 20th Provincial Congress and the 14th Party Congress in many forms suitable to the subjects, localities and actual situations.
To actively respond to Vietnam Law Day, agencies, units and localities need to continue to strengthen the organization of legal propaganda activities combined with educating officials and people about respecting, complying with and protecting the law. Through specific and practical actions, join hands to contribute to bringing the Constitution and law into life and truly permeate the consciousness and actions of each citizen, business, agency, organization and the whole society.
