Attending the award ceremony, on behalf of the Central Committee, there was Associate Professor, Doctor, Musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrades in the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Award Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Vice Chairman of the Award Council.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and award-winning authors/author groups.

Prize named after great female poet

Through the award rounds, hundreds of works were awarded prizes, encouraging the artists of the province to enthusiastically create, actively contributing to the development of cultural and social life. Some works that won the Ho Xuan Huong Award also won high awards at the regional, industry, ministerial and national levels, and some works won international awards..

However, in recent years, the organization of the awards has revealed some limitations, especially the emergence of complaints, which negatively affects the reputation of the award. Realizing this,Standing CommitteeThe Association and the Executive Board of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association have met many times to discuss the award work, proactively prepared documents to report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and the Provincial People's Committee to request permission to review the Regulations for considering and awarding the Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award.

Under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Association coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to review, revise, and seek opinions from relevant departments, agencies, and sectors. Through many meetings, the Provincial People's Committee approved the Regulations for the Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award. After the Award Regulations were issued, the Association coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the Plan for the 6th Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also issued a Decision to establish the Preliminary Council (9 specialties), the Award Final Council, and issued the Working Regulations of the Councils. The special point this time is that in the composition of the Preliminary Council, the Final Council invited leading experts from the councils.specializedCentral and universities in Hanoi participate in judging.

After promulgating the Regulations, Plans, and Rules, the Association of Literature and Arts directs the Secretariat to notify and receiveworkThe artists enthusiastically responded, with 120 authors participating (including 7 authors/groups of authors from outside the province), 197 works/groups of works participating in 9 majors (Literature, Poetry, Theater, Criticism, Folklore, Music, Photography, Fine Arts and Dance); 3 works were disqualified due to violating the regulations.

After more than 4 months of work, the Council for the 6th Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award has selected 74 high-quality works/groups of works, and proposed that the Provincial People's Committee issue a decision to award the awards. On August 4, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2287/QD-UBND recognizing and awarding Certificates of Merit and bonuses to the authors/groups of authors who won the awards (including 7 A prizes; 15 B prizes; 23 C prizes and 29 Encouragement prizes).
