Nghe An honors outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs in 2020

On the afternoon of October 13, Nghe An province held a meeting with typical businesses and entrepreneurs in 2020 on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and more than 300 typical businessmen representing the business community and entrepreneurs of the province.Photo: Thanh Duy

ACCOMPANYING AND SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that implementing the policies of the Party and State, with the motto "Government accompanies businesses”,In recent years, Nghe An province has regularly paid attention to and accompanied businesses, considering "difficulties and problems of businesses as the responsibility of Party committees and authorities at all levels".

The province has implemented many synchronous solutions, focusing on:administrative procedure reform; regularly dialogue with businesses; rectify and improve the ethics of public service among cadres and civil servants; create favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure, land, premises, etc., for businesses to develop comprehensively and achieve the highest efficiency in production and business activities.

In the past time, the business community and the provincial businessmen have created jobs for more than 212,000 workers, contributing 48-50% of the total state budget revenue in the province and actively participating in social security activities. Pointing out the limitations, as well as the difficulties and challenges that the business community and entrepreneurs are facing, the head of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that building a strong business community and team of entrepreneurs is not only the responsibility of each business and entrepreneur, but also the responsibility of the Party Committees and authorities of Nghe An province.

STRICTLY HANDLING ACTIONS THAT CAUSE DIFFICULTIES FOR BUSINESSES

In the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that enterprises and entrepreneurs of the province continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, promote the role of self-reliance and solidarity in the business community; promote proactiveness, creativity, promote the start-up movement in the province, form an increasingly strong and sustainable business community of the province, gradually and steadily reaching out to the domestic and international markets.

Enterprises and businessmen need to strive to build the image of businessmen; uphold business ethics; promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, striving to enrich themselves and their homeland; and be responsible to their workers.

Promote restructuring, reorganizing production and business, applying advanced scientific and technological achievements, improving management capacity, productivity, quality and competitiveness; Actively participate in social security activities, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, providing material and spiritual support to people in especially difficult circumstances.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung also affirmed that the provincial leaders always stand side by side with the steps, growth and development of the business community, pay attention to leading the development of businesses and the team of entrepreneurs; protect the legitimate and legal rights of businesses.

To achieve that goal, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that businesses will boldly point out specific barriers, difficulties and obstacles; honestly reflect and propose solutions to promptly handle negative manifestations, harassment and illegal acts of officials and civil servants that cause difficulties for businesses.

"The province will strictly handle any manifestations or behaviors that, for personal gain, cause difficulties and congestion for businesses, attract investment resources and hinder development," the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed.

HOPE THE PROVINCE WILL ACT RESOLUTIONALLY AND STRONGLY

On behalf of the provincial business community, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh - General Director of Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company sent his thanks to the Government, ministries, branches and Nghe An province for promptly supporting businesses and entrepreneurs to overcome difficulties and challenges in the past time.

Representing the voice of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sinh proposed that government agencies continue to implement policies, solutions, and support packages on bank credit; extension and postponement of tax payment, social insurance, etc. of the Government and Nghe An province.

At the same time, the province needs toStrengthening administrative reform solutions, improving the investment and business environment of Nghe An province to create opportunities for businesses and investors to shorten time, cut costs of implementing investment and business projects, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
