Hoang Mai Business Association organizes many activities to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day
Hoang Mai Town Business Association has just celebrated the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024), the 10th anniversary of Hoang Mai Business Association and awarded the 2nd Hoang Mai Business Football Award.
Attending the event were comrades: Le Truong Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee; Dam Huu Hong - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee; Nguyen Huu An - Chairman of the Town People's Committee.
On behalf of Hoang Mai Town Business Association,Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Chairman of the Business Association and representatives of agencies, units and businesses in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024) and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Hoang Mai Business Association, Mr. Nguyen Huu An - Chairman of the Town People's Committee congratulated and affirmed the important role of the business community and entrepreneurs in the process of building, protecting and developing the country. At the same time, he praised the great contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs to the socio-economic development of the town in recent years. The town will create all conditions and accompany businesses and entrepreneurs with the viewpoint "Business prosperity - Hoang Mai development".
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Chairman of the Town Business Association, outlined the development situation of the business community in the town. Accordingly, currently, the Business Association has nearly 700 registered businesses, of which 320 are operating and declaring taxes, 140 members participate in the Hoang Mai Town Business Association, accounting for 43.75%, establishing 7 affiliated branches, including both domestic and foreign-invested enterprises. The businesses operate in a variety of fields such as construction, aquaculture, trade and restaurant and hotel services... actively maintaining and creating stable jobs for workers.
Enterprises and entrepreneurs in the town have promoted their internal strength, restored production and business, been dynamic, creative, expanded markets, diversified products, actively attracted workers and created jobs, participated in social charity, and contributed positively to the economic growth of the town. The association has become an important bridge between enterprises and the government, helping members overcome challenges and develop sustainably in a competitive environment. The activities of enterprises have contributed to the economic growth rate in the first 9 months of the year reaching an estimated 14.6%.
At the conference, delegates reviewed the fine traditions of Vietnamese entrepreneurs and milestones on the development path, as well as the contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs of Hoang Mai to the socio-economic development of the town.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Town People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to businesses and entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business activities, fulfilling their obligations to the State and employees, and actively participating in social security work in the town in 2024.
Also on this occasion, the Business Association and the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Hoang Mai Business Football Tournament - 2024 summarized and awarded the teams that won the First Prize (FC Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company), Second Prize, Third Prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded individual prizes including: Player with the most goals, Excellent Goalkeeper, Excellent Player and Style Prize.
Here, Vicem Hoang Mai Cement Joint Stock Company also donated 50 million VND to the town's Scholarship Fund to support students in difficult circumstances. Hoang Mai Business Association donated 10 gifts worth 15 million VND to poor but excellent students.
