Nghe An promotes energy saving and gives gifts to poor students
This activity aims to raise awareness and practical actions of the community on efficient energy use, environmental protection, contributing to building a green and sustainable society.
As part of the 2024 Energy Saving and Efficiency Program, on December 20, Nghe An Center for Supporting and Consulting on Industry and Trade Development in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Con Cuong district, Con Cuong Electricity, Chau Cam Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities organized a contest to promote energy saving and efficiency in schools.
Attending the contest were Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan - Director of Nghe An Center for Supporting and Consulting on Industrial and Trade Development; representatives of Con Cuong District Department of Education and Training, Con Cuong Electricity, leaders of Chau Khe commune, and all staff, teachers and students of Chau Cam Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
There are 3 teams participating in the contest: Green Planet Team, Green Energy Team and Meteorite Team. The teams go through 3 rounds: Greeting, multiple choice and talent.
The contest aims to promote and help students in particular and the community in general join hands to save and use energy effectively, know how to protect natural resources and protect our living environment.
Speaking at the contest, Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan - Director of Nghe An Center for Supporting and Consulting on Industrial and Commercial Development said: Energy is a valuable resource, playing an extremely important role in the socio-economic development of the country and the province. Recently, our Party and State have issued many legal policies to manage and encourage the use of energy economically and efficiently.
In the context of increasingly depleted energy resources and the living environment facing many challenges, using energy economically and efficiently becomes an urgent task not only for agencies and organizations, but also the responsibility of each individual, especially the young generation - the future owners of the country.
As the organizer of the contest, we are honored to join teachers and students in spreading knowledge and practical actions on energy saving and environmental protection. The contest not only raises awareness of energy saving, but also encourages students to develop initiatives and find practical solutions to save energy right in their beloved school.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented bicycles to 3 students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies. Con Cuong Electricity also presented a water purifier to the Chau Cam Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
