Donated 500 fuel-saving stoves to poor households in Thai Hoa town
During 2 days (December 10 and 11), Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Thai Hoa Town Red Cross Association to donate 500 fuel-saving stoves to poor households in difficult circumstances who are cooking with wood stoves and to promote community-based environmental protection.

Accordingly, 500 fuel-saving stoves were given to poor households in difficult circumstances in Long Son, Hoa Hieu, Quang Phong wards and Tay Hieu commune of Thai Hoa town.
Through the stove donation, the Provincial Red Cross and the Sustainable Investment and Development Promotion Joint Stock Company (SIPCO) also organized community-based environmental protection communication in the localities receiving the stoves. The TK90 fuel-saving stove is a type of stove that uses firewood as fuel, has the advantages of high temperature, fast cooking, easy to light, less smoke and dust, reduces emissions and saves more fuel than conventional stoves. This type of stove helps families improve their living conditions, reducing heat and dust.

In the coming time, Thai Hoa town will continue to receive and give more than 2,000 fuel-saving stoves, significantly reducing emissions to protect the environment./.
