Nghe An: Returning to hometown to bathe in pond, 10th grade male student drowns
(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of June 15, Mr. Ho Duc Luyen, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Yen Commune (Quynh Luu) said that a 10th grade student unfortunately got cramps while bathing in a pond and died.
Accordingly, around noon on June 14, Nguyen Trung Kien in hamlet 7, Quynh Yen commune and a friend near his house invited each other to go to the commune pond to bathe.

When Kien jumped into the water, he unfortunately got a cramp and could not be seen on the surface. Not seeing Kien, his friend shouted for everyone around to come and rescue him. However, because the pond was large and 3.5 meters deep, the search was very difficult.
About 30 minutes later, people rescued the victim and tried every way to save him, but due to late discovery, the victim died from drowning.
It is known that Nguyen Trung Kien has just finished 10th grade and is living with his family in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. Taking advantage of the summer vacation, his family let Kien and his sister visit their hometown. Unfortunately, the heartbreaking incident happened.
Mr. Ho Duc Luyen added that local authorities came to burn incense and encourage the victim's family.
