Nghe An: Pickup truck crashes into watch shop

(Baonghean.vn) - While driving on the road, a pickup truck suddenly lost control, ran onto the sidewalk and crashed into a watch store.

The accident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on May 7 at No. 12, Le Hong Phong Street, Vinh City (Nghe An). According to witnesses, at the time, the orange pickup truck was traveling on Le Hong Phong Street from the Hai Quan roundabout to the Devil's Triangle.

When arriving in front of the watch shop at number 12, the pickup truck lost control, jumped onto the sidewalk, crashed through the shop's roller shutter and tempered glass door. Before stopping, the truck continued to drive into the shop, knocking over many shelves of expensive watches before stopping.

The car crashed straight into the watch store.

After causing the accident, the pickup truck driver immediately removed the license plate and left the scene.

Luckily, at the time of the incident, the owner of the watch shop was also the homeowner and his family was sleeping on the second floor of the house so they were lucky to escape death. The accident did not cause any casualties but damaged some of the property in the shop and expensive branded watches.

Upon receiving the news, Vinh City Traffic Police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
