Nghe An: Handling cases of posting false information about selling Covid-19 medicine
(Baonghean.vn) - Posting information about selling medicine to treat Covid-19, a case in Tan Ky district (Nghe An) has just been handled by the police related to posting false information.
Tan Ky District Police said they have verified and worked with Mr. LVC (born in 1989), residing in Tien Ky Commune, Tan Ky District (Nghe An), the owner of the Facebook account "Lang Hoang Chin" to clarify the act of posting false information about the Covid-19 epidemic on social networks.

Previously, through coordination and situation monitoring, the Internal Political Security Department of Nghe An Provincial Police and Tan Ky District Police discovered that a Facebook account named "Lang Hoang Chin" posted an article in the group "Phuoc My Industrial Park Workers' Community" (with more than 340,000 members) with the following content: "Everyone, I have traditional medicine to treatCovidbut no one has been hurtCovidTry the medicine, I have taken it and it is very safe. The medicine has 6 types of leaves, wash them and drink the water directly.
At the meeting, Mr. LVC stated that he had previously heard a neighbor say that there was a type of traditional medicine that could cure Covid-19; due to lack of knowledge, Mr. LVC posted the above article.

Tan Ky District Police worked and explained to Mr. LVC the content he posted.social networkis untrue, causing confusion in public opinion and affecting the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Mr. LVC has recognized his violation and has written a commitment not to repeat the offense.
