Single mother suspected of murdering 19-year-old son
Me Linh District Police, Hanoi, said today (April 14) they are detaining a mother to investigate the murder of her son at her home.
At around 6:30 a.m. on April 12, residents of Quang Minh town (Me Linh district, Hanoi) discovered the body of a young man dead at his home, with many wounds on his head.
Upon receiving the news, the town police immediately arrived and reported the incident to the district police.
The house where the young man's body was found belongs to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (born in 1963, residing in group 6). The victim is Dang Quang H. (born in 1999), Ms. Hue's son.
During the investigation, the police identified the suspected perpetrator as Ms. Hue. The cause and motive are being investigated and clarified.
The chief of Quang Minh town police said: "The entire case file has been sent to the district police for investigation."
According to the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Minh Quang town, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue is a single mother, without a husband, raising her child alone. Before her death, her son worked as a worker in an industrial park near her home.
