Suspected female kindergarten teacher jumped off bridge to commit suicide

(Baonghean.vn)- People on Provincial Road 533 saw a woman riding a mini bike in the middle of the bridge, then falling into the river. People around immediately called for help but it was too late.

The incident happened at 5am on October 31st at Cho Chua suspension bridge over Giang river connecting Phong Thinh and Thanh Lien communes, Thanh Chuong district. The victim is suspected to be Ms. Nguyen Thi H. (29 years old), residing in hamlet 9, Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Witnesses said that at that time, a woman was riding a mini bike from Thanh Lien commune bank across Cho Chua suspension bridge. When she reached the middle of the bridge, she suddenly fell into the river. Passersby immediately shouted for help, but it was too late, the Giang river was rising and flowing strongly, sweeping away the unfortunate woman.

Relatives and authorities are searching for the victim's body.

At the scene, on the suspension bridge there was a bicycle and a hat that family members identified as belonging to Ms. H.

It is known that Ms. H. is a kindergarten teacher, who has just transferred to work at Thanh Lien kindergarten for a few months. She is married, has a husband who is an ocean liner pilot and a small child.

Her family has lost contact with her since this morning (October 31). After the incident, her family and local authorities are using motorboats to search for her body.

Thanh Chuong district authorities confirmed the incident and said they are investigating the case from many angles, not ruling out the possibility that this is a murder case./.
