Ky Son kindergarten teacher supports a woman in labor on the roadside
On the way to school, the kindergarten teachers at Nam Can Kindergarten (Ky Son district) unexpectedly encountered a pregnant woman in labor. Despite being extremely worried and inexperienced, the teachers helped the mother give birth successfully.
On the morning of February 21, at around 7:00 a.m., four teachers including Ms. Va Y Do, Xong Y Sua, Luong Thi Mai and Ms. Ha Thi Quyet - Nam Can Kindergarten were on their way to the Nam Khien satellite school (Nam Can commune, Ky Son district) when they encountered apregnant womenlabor
At this time the weather is cold and rainy, the road is difficult, the medical station is quite far so moving is very difficult.

Because the woman was showing signs of impending labor, although very scared, the teachers decided to stop to help.
Talking about this, teacher Va Y Do added: When we saw the mother, we were very worried. Looking at the mother's bag, there was only a towel and a razor blade. Meanwhile, the baby had come out and it was too late to transfer to the clinic. We told each other to bring the baby out safely and then used the razor blade to cut the umbilical cord. Luckily, both mother and child were healthy. Looking at the chubby baby lying in the mother's arms, we felt very happy.
Ms. Va Y Do also said that after giving birth, the teachers called the health station to ask for instructions on how to take care of the mother and child. In addition, because the birth was on the road and the hygiene conditions were not good, the teachers helped the mother and child go home.

Regarding this incident, Dr. La Van Thong - Head of Nam Can Commune Health Station, said: After the mother returned home, the Health Station sent medical staff to the place to take care of her health. After examination, the baby girl weighed 3.2 kg. Currently, the health of the mother and baby is stable.
Teacher Ha Thi Huong - Principal of Nam Can Kindergarten added: Despite the difficult conditions, the teachers have made great efforts to help the mother give birth successfully. We are very happy because so far both mother and baby are healthy and the teachers have done a very meaningful job./.
