Nghi Loc: The first Congress of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Warriors Association

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 11, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Warriors Association of Nghi Loc district held its first congress for the 2015 - 2020 term with 252 delegates attending the congress.

The Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Warriors Association of Nghi Loc district was established under Decision 3820 dated August 28, 2015 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

The Executive Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term was launched.

At the congress, along with reviewing the heroic history of the nation during the 81 days and nights of protecting Quang Tri citadel, this first congress focused on setting out directions and tasks for the coming time, focusing on building the association's organization, organizing practical and effective emulation movements, paying attention to social and humanitarian work, building and promoting the image of the revolutionary Quang Tri citadel soldiers for the young generation to follow.

The first Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Association for the 2015 - 2020 term, consisting of 15 comrades.
