Nghi Loc closes road crossing the North-South railway
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the items of the overpass project at the intersection of D4 route with the old National Highway 1A and the North-South railway, connecting the new National Highway 1A, at km439+900.
On the morning of June 28, Nghi Loc District People's Committee and the construction unit coordinated to close the level crossing at km 299+168 of the North-South railway line, in Nghi Yen commune.

The level crossing closure will be carried out from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the same day. The construction unit will install barriers on both sides of the railway at the level crossing.
During the construction period, Nghi Loc District People's Committee will arrange forces to notify people and vehicle owners not to travel or circulate through the construction area but will go through the new railway overpass and National Highway 1A. Nghi Loc District Police will arrange forces to ensure security and order, ensure traffic safety, divide traffic, block traffic, guide vehicles through the overpass, and provide good service during the construction period of the level crossing closure.
After closing this level crossing, from now on, people and vehicles traveling from National Highway 1A to the communes of Nghi Yen, Nghi Tien, Nghi Thiet and vice versa will travel on the railway overpass, National Highway 1A connecting to Road D4.
Previously, on December 25, 2018, the Ministry of Transport issued an Official Dispatch on extending the time of using the level crossing at km299+168 of the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway line (section through Nghi Yen commune). Accordingly, the closure of this level crossing must be completed before June 30, 2019.
