Nghi Loc applies high technology to agricultural production
(Baonghean.vn) - Through incentive support mechanisms, in recent years, many localities in Nghi Loc district have developed high-tech agricultural production models for clean agricultural products and increased income value per unit area.
Trot Muou field is located in Hop Thang hamlet, Khanh Hop commune, districtNghi LocOriginally barren land, it only produced a few crops but the economic efficiency was not high.
In 2019, Mr. Tran Manh Hung returned from Ho Chi Minh City to his locality and boldly asked the commune government to accept land transfers from households and accumulate his family's land with a total area of nearly 10,000 m2.2, invest here in "Hung Thanh closed greenhouse clean agricultural high-tech model".

Mr. Tran Manh Hung's model includes a greenhouse system along with auxiliary items such as a high-tech Israeli automatic drip irrigation control station and a coconut fiber treatment tank.
So far, he has built 3 greenhouses, each 1,200m wide.2to grow Israeli melons and tomatoes. When the melons are ready to bloom, he brings honeybees into the greenhouse to pollinate the plants.
Mr. Hung said: Recently, he harvested the first crop of 3,000 melons, yielding 4 tons, and sold them in the garden for 160 million VND. After deducting expenses, Mr. Hung's family earned a profit of about 50 million VND. During the production process, the family received help from leaders at all levels. He himself has also found a stable and long-term consumer for his crop products.

Mr. Tran Manh Hung is one of many households in Nghi Loc district that have applied high technology to produce crops in the field.greenhouseTo encourage households to produce according to this model, Nghi Loc District People's Committee supports each model with a minimum area of 2,000m2.2amount of 350 million dong
Along with that, the People's Committees of the communes also support training for farmers to apply science and technology to production, organize tours to learn about the model, support product promotion and consumption so that people can feel secure in production. Currently, the whole district has 6 communes producing high-tech agricultural models with a total area of 30,000 m2. In Nghi Long commune alone in 2017, there was only one household producing crops in greenhouses, irrigated with Israeli technology on an area of 1,000 m2.2,Now there are dozens of families participating in this model with a total area of 8,000 m2.
In addition to melons, Nghi Loc farmers also growIsraeli cucumber, flowers, vegetables, tubers, fruits of all kinds. Plants grown using this technology all bring high income. The high-tech agricultural production model also creates jobs for many workers, saves irrigation water, ensures environmental safety, and plant products are favored by consumers because of their high quality.

Talking about the policy of continuing to replicate the model in the coming time, Mr. Tran Nguyen Hoa - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghi Loc district said: "Currently, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is advising the District People's Committee to develop a project and program for the whole period to effectively implement at the grassroots level.
Accordingly, the entire mechanism of the district on developing high-tech agriculture in recent years will be re-evaluated and support mechanisms will be issued for implementation in 2021 and the following years, such as support for greenhouse construction, support for linking production development, support for product consumption, and brand promotion.
With the drastic participation of the Party Committee, government and farmers, the implementation of crop restructuring and building a high-tech agricultural model in Nghi Loc district has initially been quite positive.
