Mr. Dinh Van Bieu, 86 years old this year, is a member of the Veterans Association at Branch 5. After years of fighting in the battlefields of the Southwest, returning to his hometown, he contracted malaria, suffered from constant illness, and his family's circumstances were extremely difficult. For a long time, the family had to live in a dilapidated, old house that they could not afford to repair. Understanding the difficult circumstances, the Provincial Veterans Association launched a campaign to mobilize benefactors to support and build a new house for the family of veteran Dinh Van Bieu.
The house is a level 4 house, with 2 rooms, an area of about 50 m2, with an estimated construction cost of about 130 million VND. Of which, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group Veterans Association supported 50 million VND. The rest was supported by brothers and relatives. The house is expected to be built in 3 months.
This is one of 10 houses receiving support from the comradeship fund of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group Veterans Association to support veterans in difficult circumstances in Nghe An.
