(Baonghean.vn) - After inspecting the election implementation in 4 communes and constituencies, on the afternoon of May 13, the working delegation of the Provincial Election Committee had a working session with the Election Committee of Nghia Dan district.

It can be affirmed that the work of preparing for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2016-2021 term has been focused on by the Party Committee, government and political system of Nghia Dan district, with synchronous and methodical leadership and direction, following the schedule and in accordance with the law.
Nghia Dan mobilized more than 3,500 cadres, civil servants, public employees and people to participate in election organizations at all levels. The total number of voters participating in the election was 88,295 voters in 157 polling stations. The total number of candidates officially established for the election was 64 candidates for district People's Council deputies and 1,108 candidates for commune People's Council deputies.

Up to this point, security, social order and safety are basically stable. The settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations is ensured according to regulations. The district has received 7 petitions, of which 5 have been resolved and 2 are still being processed.
The physical facilities, from the arrangement of polling stations, ballot boxes, stamps, documents, forms, and ballots, have all been completed. All communes have proactively prepared additional ballot boxes to facilitate patients being treated at medical facilities, or sick at home, and the elderly to exercise their right to vote.
Propaganda work is carried out with attention in many forms and on various media, contributing to creating an atmosphere among all classes of people towards election day.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Cao Thi Hien highly appreciated the focused direction of the Party Committee, government and the entire political system from the district to the grassroots for the election work in Nghia Dan district.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also emphasized: From now until the election day, there are only nearly 10 days left, so the district is required to continue to focus more on this work. In particular, pay attention to the massive propaganda work, maximize the use of media, and create a truly election-oriented atmosphere.
In the propaganda on the commune's radio system to residential areas, focus on propaganda and notification to voters about the date and time of voting, when it starts and ends; where to vote; and about voters' rights.
