Nghia Dan visits and supports the family whose child drowned in Hieu River
(Baonghean.vn) - The delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district visited, encouraged, shared the loss and supported the family of Mr. Tran Van Tinh whose 2 children unfortunately drowned while swimming in the river on the afternoon of April 29.

On the morning of May 2, representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district visited Dong Tien hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune and provided 6 million VND in support to the family of Mr. Tran Van Tinh and Ms. Phung Thi Huong, whose two children, Tran Thi Kim Xuyen (born 2006) and Tran Van Luyen (born 2008), drowned while swimming in Hieu river, through Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town.
On this occasion, the district Red Cross Society and the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghia Dan district also supported 2 million VND for the family.

3 cousins missing while bathing in the river in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On a holiday, 5 cousins went to Hieu River to swim, but 3 of them are missing.
As reported, at around 3:00 p.m. on April 29, a group of five children, including Phan Thi Phuong Nhung, Phan Thi Phuong Vi and Phung Thi Mai, all residing in Block 4, Long Son Ward (Thai Hoa Town), along with Tran Thi Kim Xuyen and Tran Van Luyen, residing in Dong Tien Hamlet, Nghia Hoi Commune (Nghia Dan), went swimming in Hieu River (the river section flowing through Block 4, Long Son Ward, Thai Hoa Town). Unfortunately, Mai, Xuyen and Luyen drowned. All three unfortunate children were cousins and their families were still in difficult circumstances.
