Nghia Son (Nghia Dan): Investing nearly 39 billion VND to develop production models

Along with the strong development of trade, services and mechanics, people have invested heavily in building crop and livestock production models for high income.In total, within 5 years of implementing the construction of the New Rural Area, the commune has invested nearly 39 billion VND to develop production models and increase income for people, of which credit loans account for the largest proportion with 26.1 billion VND, capital from people's resources is 12.5 billion VND and other support sources from the state are nearly 400 million VND.

Although starting out as a purely agricultural commune, Nghia Son's current average income per capita has reached 36 million VND, with dozens of models generating at least 100-150 million VND and the highest 350-500 million VND/year.

The beekeeping model of Mr. Vo Van Ha in Son Ha hamlet. With 300 bee colonies and producing 7 rings, each year brings in an income of about 500 million VND. The whole commune has about 5,000 honey bee colonies and beekeeping is a high-income profession in Nghia Son.

Mr. Do Van Quy's orange model in Son Ha hamlet. Currently, he has nearly 700 orange trees planted on an area of ​​1.8 hectares. The first harvest, with 300 trees, yielded about 6 tons of oranges and brought in an income of nearly 200 million VND. In Nghia Son area, there are currently nearly 90 hectares of oranges and grapefruits, of which over 30 hectares have been harvested, so each year the value of orange trees alone reaches 12 billion VND.

Taiwanese guava model of Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh, Son Dong hamlet, with 2,000 m2Planted 5 years ago, the guava garden has brought in an income of 120 - 150 million VND per year for the family.

The super egg-laying chicken model in Son Dong hamlet of Ms. Tran Thi Ke. With nearly 2,000 laying chickens, each month the profit from selling eggs is about 10-15 million VND and is a very effective direction. Currently, the family is planning to invest in increasing the flock of egg-laying chickens to 3,000.

Thanks to the vibrant economic development, the average income of the people reached 36 million VND/person. In addition to taking care of the family economy, the people have actively contributed to the construction of the New Rural Area.
