Mr. Lo Vong Kham said: on the morning of May 11, when he discovered the big fish hooked, it took him and his wife nearly 30 minutes to get the fish onto the boat. Mr. Kham has been fishing for kingfishers (a type of large-sized fishing line with many hooks, usually released from the afternoon of the day until the next morning) since he was a child, but it has been more than 20 years since he caught a fish this big.
He added that in the past, fishing for catfish, bream, and bream (fish species with high economic value) was often more successful. In recent years, the amount of these fish has gradually become scarce, making it very difficult to catch them.
