Arriving at the coast of Dien Chau and Quynh Luu districts (Nghe An) at 12 noon today, October 14, although the storm wind was not strong, the waves were fierce, with some waves 2-3 m high. The storm rain at this time was also quite heavy and continuous.
On the coastal road connecting Dien Kim to Dien Hai (Dien Chau) and Quynh Nghia (Quynh Luu), fishermen's rafts have been pulled up and carefully tied.

FishermanPham Van Hue in Dien Kim commune said, grasping information about the stormstorm no. 7, from early this morning, October 14, the family mobilized manpower to pull the rafts onto the concrete and asphalt roads to avoid the waves. By noon today, all the rafts of fishermen in the hamlet and commune had been pulled safely ashore.
In the Bung River area of Dien Chau district, by noon today, fishing boats had moved in to take shelter from the storm.

Mr. Le The Hieu - Head of Department of Agriculture and Rural DevelopmentDien Chau districtsaid: The locality has nearly 600 rafts and nearly 1,000 fishing boats that have been banned from the sea by local authorities and functional agencies since the afternoon of October 13.
This storm No. 7, Dien Chau is most worried about 2,000 hectares of winter corn that are in the freezing stage, only about 10 days from harvest, to be imported to cattle breeding companies. If the storm winds cause damage, it will cause great damage to the people.

For Quynh Luu district, according to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, there are currently 700 hectares of vegetables, 500 hectares of winter corn and about 150 hectares of shrimp that have just been released. If there are strong winds and heavy rains, the risk of affecting crops and shrimp is very high.
