Woman transports 2 heroin cakes for 10 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - Xoan was caught red-handed while delivering a heroin cake to a customer. When searching the house, detectives continued to discover another heroin cake hidden in a styrofoam box.

On March 28, Vinh City Police are completing the case file to prosecute Ngo Thi Xoan (residing in Block 15, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City) for the crime of illegal possession and transportation of drugs.

Previously, at noon on March 21, Xoan was caught red-handed while transporting a heroin cake to the delivery location. At the police station, the suspect confessed that he agreed with a man named T. to pick up 2 heroin cakes from another person, then deliver them to him for 10 million VND.

In the early morning of March 21, Xoan went to the Cau Duoc cement factory intersection (in block 15, Cua Nam ward) to receive goods from a “partner” who was waiting there. After receiving the drugs, Xoan brought them home to hide. Under T’s direction, Xoan then delivered 1 cake to T, and this man would come to pick up the rest at Xoan’s house.

However, while on his way to deliver the “goods” to his boss, Xoan was arrested by detectives. Searching the suspect’s residence, the police continued to seize the remaining heroin cake hidden in a styrofoam box placed in the corner of the house.

Police said that when they discovered the presence of the detectives, Xoan tried to disperse the plastic bag containing the heroin cake to deny his crime but failed.

According to police records, Xoan is a local “big shot” with a bad record, having been in and out of prison many times. In 2013, Xoan was sentenced to 4 months in prison by the Hung Nguyen District People’s Court for gambling.

After being released from prison, Xoan was also the one who caused chaos and disorder when he carried a coffin to collect debt noisily, causing chaos in the whole area in September 2014. In 2015, Xoan was sentenced to 6 months in prison by the People's Court of Vinh City for the crime of Resisting a person on official duty.

Recently, although he doesn't have a stable job, Xoan often spends lavishly and lives a luxurious life.

The case is under investigation and expansion.
