Muong Xen residents (Nghe An) broke into their houses to salvage property buried in the flood.

On the morning of July 23, in the center of Muong Xen commune (Nghe An), floodwaters began to recede, many households had to break down their doors to dig through trash to salvage buried property.

The flood on the evening of July 22 caught many households in the center of Muong Xen commune off guard. Water rushed into houses, sweeping away trees and mud, causing furniture to be swept away or severely damaged.

At around 6 p.m. on July 22, floodwaters suddenly rose rapidly, forcing many households in Muong Xen commune to urgently evacuate people to safety, while their belongings could not be transported in time.
