Man stabs friend to death because of debt of 300,000 VND
During a drinking party, Cuong demanded his friend pay him 300,000 VND, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim to death during an argument.
On February 22, Ho Chi Minh City Police and Binh Tan District deployed many detectives to capture Luu Phan Cuong (31 years old, from Bac Ninh) -murder suspectmy hometown friend named Quynh, 33 years old.

According to initial investigation, on the afternoon of the 6th day of Tet, Quynh and Cuong set up a drinking table at his house on Street 10, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Binh Tan District. When he was drunk, Cuong asked Quynh to lend him 300,000 VND before Tet, causing the two sides to argue.
During the fight, Cuong grabbed a knife and stabbed Quynh in the chest. The victim held his wound and ran a short distance before collapsing and dying. Cuong fled immediately afterward.
Police determined that Cuong had a previous conviction for murder and had recently been released from prison. A week before Tet, he came to Quynh's house to ask to stay.
