Man tragically drowned after swimming across stream
(Baonghean.vn) - While picking bamboo shoots in the downstream area of Hua Na Hydropower Plant, Mr. P. was unfortunately swept away by the water. His body has been handed over to his family for burial.

Previously, at around 1:00 p.m. on September 11, Mr. HVP (born in 1984), residing in Na Ty village, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, along with his wife Ngan Thi Loan and another woman, went to the downstream area of Hua Na Hydropower Plant in Dong Van commune (Que Phong) to pick bamboo shoots.
On the way back, when he reached a stream downstream of Hua Na Hydropower Plant, Mr. P. was unfortunately swept away by the water. Discovering the incident, Ms. Loan and the woman accompanying her shouted for help and immediately reported it to the local authorities.
Upon receiving the news, Dong Van commune authorities mobilized forces and coordinated with two hydroelectric plants: Hua Na and Dong Van to organize a plan to search for the victims.
By the evening of the same day, the authorities found Mr. P's body and handed it over to his family.
After receiving the information, the authorities and organizations of Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district promptly visited and expressed condolences to the victim's family.
