Man missing from 7-storey waterfall in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn)- On the afternoon of June 23, a man was playing on a 7-story waterfall in Que Phong district (Nghe An) when he slipped and went missing and has not been found yet.

Mr. Luong Tien Le, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanh Dich Commune, Que Phong confirmed the information and said that he had sent a Vice Chairman of the People's Committee to the scene of the 7-story waterfall to assist in searching for victims.

Previously, at around 10am on June 23, a middle-aged man, whose identity is unknown, was visiting the 7-storey waterfall in Hanh Dich commune. While climbing to the top floor of the waterfall to enjoy the view, he slipped and fell into the waterfall.

When the incident occurred, tourists, local people and authorities organized a search for the victim. However, as of the afternoon of June 23, the victim's whereabouts had not yet been found.

The 7-storey waterfall complex is considered one of the most beautiful waterfall complexes in Western Nghe An. The waterfall is located in the Pu Hoat National Forest, in Hua Muong village, Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An). The 7-storey waterfall has been known to tourists in the past few years and has become a favorite destination for tourists.

Several tragic accidents have occurred at this 7-storey waterfall. Most recently, on April 9, a young man died while bathing at this waterfall.
