Man falls into water and dies while checking fish cages on hydroelectric lake in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - While checking fish cages on Hua Na hydroelectric reservoir, a man temporarily residing in Thong Thu commune (Que Phong) unfortunately fell into the lake and died.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on July 16 in the old Hua Na village area of Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district, now the Hua Na hydroelectric reservoir.

At the above time, Mr. Nguyen Van The (born in 1963), from Xuan Duong commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, currently residing in Thong Thu commune (Que Phong), worked as a fish farmer on a hydroelectric lake. He was on a boat on the lake to check the fish cages when he unfortunately had an accident and fell into the lake, leading to his death.
Upon receiving the news, Thong Thu Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with local authorities and related forces to carry out the search.
After nearly a day of active searching, at 11:00 a.m. on July 17, the forces found the victim's body and handed it over to the family for burial./.
